Get to Know me…

Stephania Sanita; an enthusiastic, passionate, and determined woman who discovered her love of swimming at the age of 3 years old. With already a head start on life, Stephania embarked on her swimming journey. Throughout the course of her long swimming career, she has acquired many roles, including those of a lifeguard, swim instructor, competitive swim coach, standard first aid instructor, diving instructor, aquafit instructor, and now business owner.

Stephania has taught swimmers from both recreational and competitive swim clubs for over 7 years. From floats to butterfly, Stephania has learned a great deal about how to ensure a swimmer’s success in every type of stroke. She has acquired a variety of teaching techniques, allowing her to train swimmers of all ages. Stephania has taught swimmers as young as 1 year old and as old as 60. 

What separates S Swim Academy from other pools?

In order to develop student-teacher trust and ensure a higher success rate than the typical community center session, we provide the private experience, through offering one-on-one or two-on-one lessons. Additionally, we believe that practice makes perfect, thus we focus on concurring one skill at a time (For example, kicking with teacher support, then kicking with a flutter-board, to finally kicking on their own). By using this approach, we find students are much  happier and more confident; Swimmers and parents can see improvement with every lesson. Stephania also offers a plethora of at-home exercises to help students further improve on skills!
